Where We've Been, Where We're Going
On November 1, 2025, Battleshock Immune celebrated our two-year anniversary! The club came about as an outgrowth of the Battleshock Immune discord (formerly Common Grounds), and a desire to have a place to gather and play games, outside of the usual game stores. These kinds of game clubs are common place, across the pond, but BSI is the first of it's kind in Albuquerque!
While we love the many wonderful game stores that ABQ has to offer, they don't always meet everyone's needs, when it comes to providing a secure, non-retail space for folks to play games, and meet other gamers in the community. That's where Battleshock Immune comes in.
As we head into 2026, and our third year as an organization, we're excited to explore more ways that we can serve Albuquerque's thriving tabletop gaming community.
Battleshock Immune and the BSI Lounge
Battleshock Immune is incorporated as a 501c7 New Mexico non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive community space, for new and veteran gamers alike. We welcome tabletop gamers of all kinds, of any identity.
2026 and What's to Come
Starting in 2026, we'll be sending out this monthly newsletter, to keep you up to date with the many events we'll be running, and opportunities to get involved with our community. We'll offer a mix of ongoing regular events, like hobby nights, and movies at the lounge, and more specific events that change from month to month. Events will be held both at the lounge, and game stores around Albuquerque. If you have an event that you would like to organize, or a favorite game that you want to promote, let us know how we can support you, to make that happen.
Our January newsletter will include a calendar of events for the month, and information about the new Path to Glory for Age of Sigmar. We hope you'll join us as we kick off a fantastic year of tabletop gaming!
